PLESK: How to bypass IP and hostname from SPF check

Sometimes, for various reasons, you may need to make a scanning exception for SPF on your Plesk server, this can be done by doing this:

Go to Plesk Control Panel –> Tools & Settings –> Mail Server Settings.
Add ip4:x.x.x.x or include:domain.com to the SPF local rules field.
More than one entry should be separated by spaces.

Click OK.

And that’s it! 🙂

    Hi,

    I’ve tried:

    include:domain1.com domain2.com domain3.com, and
    include:domain1.com include:domain2.com include:domain3.com

    but both are not working.

    Appreciate your advise.

    Thanks & regards

      Hi,

      Due to this:
      https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/administrator-guide/mail/antispam-tools/sender-policy-framework-system-linux.59435/

      Following rfc4408

Your 2nd solution should be working.

Have you tried rebooting the Plesk server to make sure the SPF settings get implmented correctly?

(Sorry for the delay – been on vacation 😉 )

      Best regards
      Martin
