Unfortunately yes! 🙁
This time, when running vSphere 6 update 1 and hardware version 11, you cannot be sure that you can restore your incremental jobs.
Only workaround for now, is to downgrade ESXi hosts to 5.5 or downgrade VM hardware version to 10.
